Barack Vs. Bloomberg?

By: Ernie Fitzpatrick
The Obama bandwagon is on a roll and we're now seeing stories here and there about Hillary Clinton dropping out of the presidential race as her funds dry up. Who would have ever guessed? Is this a political sensation not ever seen before? The charismatic Barack Obama is being compared to the youthful idealism of John Kennedy.

As the Drudge Report quoted a campain insider as saying, "She can't take multiple double-digit losses in New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada. If she gets too badly embarrassed, it will really harm her. She doesn't want the Clinton brand to be damaged with back-to-back-to-back defeats."

Harm the Clinton brand? You gotta be kidding!

While I'm not convinced yet that there's any serious talk of her backing out, though that would free Bubba to spend more time doing the kinds of things he likes to do (wink-wink), she and her legions have to be greatly shaken and the New Hampshire vote Tuesday could unravel her national campaign, depending upon the size of the loss.

But, since I've been advocating a Bloomberg third party candidacy for some time now, I have to wonder how Michael Bloomberg sees all this hype surrounding Obama. These are wild and perilous times and one never knows when they wake up in the morning what might be awaiting us that will drastically change our world.

In some ways we sderiously do need our world changed! And the voters in Iowa got that message across loud and clear. And as the national odds of Hillary becoming president nose-dive, maybe getting out sooner tha

n later makes good sense. Saying goodbye to the Bush-Clinton-Bush- maybe another Clinton scenario is a GOOD CHANGE!

Who would have "thunk it" a month ago? At least a Barack vs. Bloomberg (3rd party candidate) face off would be BIG CHANGE!
